One month left until the 15th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice. MIRU will be there in first person to report in detail about the Japanese Pavilion, curated by Yoshiyuki Yamana (Professor at the Department of Architecture of the Tokyo University of Science).
What was originally announced by The Japan Foundation as “en: beyond – SHARING”, has meanwhile been renamed “En: Art Of Nexus” and now features a dedicated website and an upcoming publication.
En: Art Of Nexus – Japan Pavilion La Biennale De Venezia 2016
The official catalogue for the Japan Pavilion of the 15th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice. With the theme of ‘en’ (fate), the book focuses on the works of twelve young architects who have broken away from Japan’s modern architectural conventions. The works by Koji Aoki, dot architects, Mio Tsuneyama, 403architecture, and more pursue new relationships that are deeply connected with recent social conditions in Japan, such as the relationships between people, between people and goods, and between people and the environment.
The book will available at Idea Books.
